Additional removable pocket for backpack

This pocket was designed to be added on a Millet waterproof backpack. As this bag doesn’t offer extra solution to carry stuff the owner was looking to add more capacity to his backpack. Here is the solution that we have found:

This pocket is made with water repellant fabric. There is no real needs to have a realy waterproof pocket because the bag itself is waterproof so the pocket is done to carry less important stuff.

The pocket can be added using the originals straps of the bag.

Construction :

* outer : 600 Denier coated polyester
* liner :  1000 Denier Cordura ™
* 4 quick release buckles to attach it on the main bag
* 2 compression straps
* zipper closure

Dimensions : 39cm H X 28cm W X 10cm D

Women shoulder bag

At the beginning this bag was a mix between a special order and a prototype, and because the prototype was satisfying and its design has generated lot of nice compliments I’m thinking that I might produce others. On request only because it’s lot of work and I don’t want to produce one and keep it in a box…

Requirements ( made by a girl ) …

I want a bag to :

• Carry my U-Lock and some small stuff
• Ride in summer comfortable and light
• Wear it in my back while riding but later like a purse to go into a bar

Construction :

• Natural brown leather
• Chest strap Nylon webbing with leather padding
• Brass buckles
• Magnetic closure

This bag is completely sewed by hand using the classic saddler stitch. This technique requires more time than sewing with a machine but it’s the only way to have the better result  regarding the stitches appearance.

The use of strong leather allows this bag to conserve its shape even when it’s empty, nevertheless the leather is soft enough to follow the shape of the back for a best comfort while you ride your bike, even loaded with the U-lock.

I have worked on the same design using canvas or Cordura to build the body of the bag but  the result is not the same. The fabric is not enough rigid and when the bag is empty it doesn’t look so nice. I will find a solution to reach the same kind of result with fabric, but for now I will offer it only in leather ( black or brown ).

Belt or Shoulder Strap pouch

Construction :

• Flanges and flap: Natural leather
• Side: Nylon webbing
• Fixation: Open belt loops ( with Velcro ) in the same leather than the body

The association of natural leather for the flanges and the flap and the nylon webbing make this pouch very resistant to abrasion and manipulations. Those two materials are water repellant, the addition of an internal layer can make this pouch really waterproof, this can be provided as an option.

The addition of the two open belt loops allows you to attach this pouch where you want; regular belt or event the shoulder strap of your preferred messenger bag. ( for belt or strap with a max width  of 2″1/2)
